Class Events and Ministries

Each Sunday morning our class begins with an invitation for prayer requests. If needed arrangements will be made to reach out to address the ones in need. Prayers are said and continued for meditation to be passed along during the remainder of the week.

On Monday evenings at 6:30pm our class participates in the T.O.U.C.H. visitation program reaching out to the community to share Christ.

Another Sunday School growth emphasis program held earlier in the year was known as the B.A.S.S. Master Tournament (Be A Sunday School For the Master) . March 18-April 8th classes were on a mission to reach out and make contacts to promote membership. Our class was recognized by a trophy to symbolize our efforts and participation in this church wide event.

The Branches class provided all the guests of Gene and Deanie's wedding party with the after rehearsal dinner. It was a class effort where everyone received a blessing and the food was good too!

Gene and Deanie Coe held a class social at their home for our
Sunday School class members following their April 14th wedding.

February 10, 2007
Class Fellowship

August - Class provided meal for Jim & Marilyn Dunn during Jim's back, block recovery.

Class donated to Building Fund in memory of Jeanine Killian's mother.

July - Class donated to the Challenge to Build fund in honor of Lori McCrary & James Todd who recently had surgeries.

June - Class prepared meal for family of Donna Thigpen, her father passed away.

May - Class prepared meal for family of Denise Allison, her father passed away.

Class donated to the Challenge to Build fund in honor of Jean Forbis, she had surgery and requested a donation to building fund rather than a meal.

March -Our class took a meal to Bub Williams who had fallen.

Sent cards to sound and audio personnel, thanking them for their service to our church and the services.

February - Helped to collect items for Donna to carry on mission trip to Belize.

Cottage prayer meeting held at the home of David and Lori McCrary, praying for the upcoming revival.

Our class honored Bro Charles for his anniversary with a gift.

Hearts 4 You week, our class sent a box to serviceman Robert Hammitt.

Meal prepared for class member Nancy, who had surgery.

December - Class sent a Christmas box to Joel T Stone, in service and helped with Rosie, friend of David McCrary to get ticket, gas, etc to get back to Columbia. Her husband had only a few weeks left to live and he wanted to get back home before his death.

October - Class encouraged to send cards to Joel T Stone, serviceman, son of Linda Kornegay.

September -Class encouraged to send cards to Robert Hamlett, service man, friend of Steve Bailey's sister.
